Customer Relationship Management Tool

Diamond status has been impossible for any provider to cling to for more than a single year in this category. Consistent performance has been elusive for most, perhaps reflecting dealers’ ongoing search for a CRM silver bullet—a tool that perfectly fits their needs. Only one of last year’s winners—AutoRevenue—made the cut this year.  There is plenty of opportunity for providers in this category judging by the wide gap between the above-average performers and the rest of the pack.

After an above-average finish but no award in 2006, The Higher Gear Group not only made its first-ever appearance in this category’s top three but arrived in style, landing the Diamond Award.

Complementing a win in the Direct Mail category, AutoRevenue took the Platinum Award—further evidence of dealers’ efforts to increase fixed ops profit to prop up the sagging bottom lines that have resulted from the drop in car sales. DealerSocket received its first win this year, taking the Gold Award. ADP and Reynolds & Reynolds also had above-average ratings, taking fourth and fifth places, respectively.
