Selling More Accessories

ChromeR Systems Inc., a subsidiary of DealerTrack Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRAK) and an industry leader in managing automotive data, today announced that General Motors has selected Chrome as the exclusive provider of a fully integrated accessories solution that GM is now offering its dealers across the United States.   This comprehensive and cost-effective digital marketing solution provides GM dealers with industry-leading functionality to increase their accessory sales and profitability.

The Chrome Accessories Solution provides the flexibility to meet dealers' diverse business requirements.  It features seamless integration with a dealer's own web site, along with eCommerce capabilities, VIN look-up and search functionality for available accessories, 360-degree visualization of accessorized vehicles and build-your-own capability, as well as additional features.  Chrome and GM have also customized the solution to allow full integration with other GM dealership systems, including a common login interface.

"We are very pleased to expand our relationship with GM and support their Accessories Solution, and are particularly excited about the strong initial enrollment levels we are seeing among GM dealers," said Pete Batten, general manager of Chrome Systems.  "By enabling dealers to sell accessories more effectively, and providing a streamlined technology framework to manage the accessories workflow, our solution can enhance both dealership profitability and customer satisfaction."
