HENDERSON, Nev. — Last month, a used-car lot called The Car Depot closed its doors without notice, leaving customers who got loans directly through the dealership unable to make their payments, reported ABC’s Nevada affiliate, ABC 13.

The Car Depot did $7,500 in damage to the property it was leasing, according to the landlord. DMV records show the business was properly licensed with the City of Henderson, but the agency changed The Car Depot’s license to an “out of business” status after receiving numerous complaints about its disappearance.
