CARMEL, Ind. — The executive vice president and chief financial officer of KAR Auction Services Inc., Eric Loughmiller, was named the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 2015 CFO of the Year in the public companies category.

He later joined Auto Auctions, a KAR Auction Services business unit, as a consultant. In 2007, he became CFO of Auto Auctions — later promoted to executive vice president and CFO of KAR Auction Services.
