CARMEL, Ind. — Remarketing and technology solutions provider KAR Auction Services Inc. announced the launch of a new website for its instaVIN business unit, which provides vehicle history and title history information for dealers, commercial customers and consumers.

The revamped website features a responsive design and delivers near real-time title, salvage, and insurance total loss events. Officials said the new designed also provides a simple, user-friendly interface for creating an account or accessing the company’s vehicle history and title reports.

“At instaVIN, we are focused on simplifying vehicle history research for our customers and providing them with the most detailed and up-to-date data possible,” said instaVIN CEO Jim Irish. “Our newly enhanced vehicle history reports are easier to understand and include cautions and warning indicators for various events. New functionality and responsive design allow customers to request and view free VIN checks and buy reports on computer, tablet or any mobile device on any browser platform.”

Users also receive access to a streamlined report dashboard with new functionality. Dealer and commercial customers can now order instaVIN reports in batches up to 100 VINs. There are new filter options to deliver condensed reports, and additional HTML functionality to embed links from web ads, allowing for easier visibility for online shoppers.

Additionally, instaVIN car history reports now include an optional original factory window sticker with build data for an additional charge. The window sticker includes VIN-specific standard and factory-installed options and packages, original MSRP, EPA mileage and safety ratings, warranties, code guide information, and engine and transmission specifications. The Monroney style window stickers serve as a valuable remarketing tool for sellers and provide buyers with more transparent insight into the vehicle’s original options and cost.

The new instaVIN website is available at www.instavin.com.
