The F&I product provider’s new board member spent 24 years with Ford Motor Co., where she served as director of global marketing for Ford, president and CEO of Volvo Cars of North America, and president of sales operations for Volvo Car Corp. in Sweden.
Frey joins the F&I product provider from Allstate Dealer Services, where he served as COO. He will now serve as EasyCare’s executive vice president of new agency relations and acquisitions.
The acquisition brings together two firms that have been connected since 1992, with ADG serving as APCO’s largest independent agency for seven of those years, including the last two.
The transaction is expected to close this December. Officials said APCO’s management team will remain in place once it does.
