Financing Sources for Older, Higher Mileage Vehicles and the Harder to

Place Customer

SARASOTA, FL – (July 14, 2009) – Auto Dealer Monthly is pleased to announce the addition of the Sunday August 9th Finance Company Panel, which focuses on securing D-Tier customers. It will take place on day one of the 2009 Special Finance Convention. The panel will include:

• Vehicle Acceptance Corporation, Sara Upton, Chief Operating Officer
• Western Funding Inc, Dwight Cope, President
• Westlake Financial Services, Eric Eggebrecht, Regional Manager

The Finance Company Panel features a 45-minute Q&A discussion on what it takes to secure indirect financing for those harder-to-place customers—including program guidelines, proper deal structure and inventory.  Finding financing for these customers has become increasingly difficult, which is why Auto Dealer Monthly added a second finance company panel to the convention.

“One of the questions that I am asked most often in today’s market is ‘What SF company will finance older, higher mileage vehicles, or the D-Tier credit buyer?’  The companies on this panel certainly should give dealers (both franchise and independent) great ideas and options,” said Greg Goebel, chairman of the 2009 SF Convention.
