CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – Auto/Mate Dealership Systems (www.automate.com) announced today that it has successfully developed and tested its Automotive Management Productivity Suite (AMPS) for use with the Lexus Dealer Daily system. Lexus dealerships using AMPS can now communicate seamlessly with Toyota Motors Sales USA, Inc. (TMS) through integration points in all departments, including sales, F&I and accounting.
“This benefits Lexus dealers as they can choose the best and most cost effective DMS for their dealership without having to compromise the ability to communicate with the manufacturer,” says Mike Esposito, president and CEO of Auto/Mate.
Lexus dealerships can communicate with TMS via a web-based portal, enabling instant, electronic transmission of business critical information. Lexus dealers using AMPS will benefit from eliminating redundancies and reducing administrative costs.
The technology used in Lexus’ Dealer Daily system is based on standards set by the Standards for Technology in Automotive Retail (STAR), an organization that promotes the use of non-proprietary technology. Auto/Mate developed interfaces for AMPS that adhere to STAR standards and create seamless communications for the following:
Fixed Ops
• Parts inventory/shipper/order/return/master information
• Repair Order data
• Ops code/labor guide
• Special service vehicle campaign
• Customer updates
• Automatic stock replenishment/dealer stocking guide
• National service history
F&I Sales
• Vehicle inventory adjustment: inbound/outbound
• Retail delivery report
• Credit contracts
• Customer updates
Accounting
• Financial statements
• Warranty payments
• Customer Updates
The approval from TMS applies to all Lexus dealerships with AMPS currently installed. AMPS is an easy-to-use comprehensive dealership management system with more than 20 integrated modules to help dealers manage their business. It supports an unlimited number of users, workstations and printers, and can be implemented in any size dealership. For more information visit www.automate.com.
