New CTO Robert Poon brings years of technology and management expertise to CIMA
Pleasanton, CA – CIMA Systems, a Customer Interactive Management Application that helps serve as a 24-hour automated business development center for dealerships, announces the hiring of Robert Poon as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With over twenty years of experience with companies such as Oracle and IBM, Poon brings a wealth of expertise and experience in software development, hardware, and effective management to CIMA Systems. As CIMA Systems CTO, Poon will manage the software development and internal operations teams.
Poon’s impressive resume of technology expertise includes his most recent position as Senior Vice President of World Wide Data Center Operations at Oracle. Prior to that, Poon held the position of Vice President of Operations at IBM, and before that the position of Corporate Vice President and Officer at ComDisco. He attended the Illinois Institute of Technology for undergraduate studies in chemical engineering, and his PhD from Vanderbilt University in computer science.
