CNA National Warranty Corporation has announced the appointment of Alan Miller as senior vice president of sales, according to Joe Becker, president and CEO. “Alan Miller is an experienced leader who brings nearly 30 years of automotive industry knowledge to our executive team,” Becker says. “We’re thrilled that he will be putting his expertise to work for CNA National on behalf of our agents and dealer clients.” Miller’s background includes automotive retail (initially in sales and later as director of F&I operations for a metro Chevy store) as well as general agency experience. He spent nine years with GE Capital/Heritage Insurance Group in a variety of positions including F&I training director, Southwest regional manager, and vice president of reinsurance management. Most recently, Alan was with Protective Life Insurance Company of St. Louis, Missouri, since 1997. For the last three years, he served as senior vice president of national accounts. “CNA National has always had an outstanding reputation within the industry,” Miller says, “and I look forward to working with our independent agents to generate even greater success in the months and years ahead.” Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, CNA National is recognized as a leader in the vehicle service contract industry. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of CNA, one of the nation’s oldest and largest insurers with nearly $60 billion in assets.
