Scottsdale, AZ — CNA National has paid more than $1 billion in claims for repairs on behalf of its service contract holders, according to Joe Becker, president and chief executive officer.

“For more than 25 years, our customers, dealers and agents have been able to count on us to provide fair, fast and hassle-free claims service,” Becker said. “Last year alone we paid more than $91 million for repairs to our customers’ vehicles and just recently we exceeded $1 billion paid for claims inception to date.

“CNA National has always been known for superior claims service,” he continued. “One reason for this is our emphasis on hiring adjusters with actual dealership or repair facility experience. In fact, the majority of our Claims Department staff is ASE-certified.”

Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, CNA National is recognized as a leader in the vehicle service contract industry, offering a variety of profit participation programs including a choice of reinsurance structures. Just last month the company announced it has surpassed $100 million in profit distributions to dealers nationwide. In addition to service contracts, its product line includes GAP and tire-and-wheel protection. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of CNA, one of the nation’s oldest and largest insurers with more than $60 billion in assets.

CNAN was the first to be recognized by J.D. Power and Associates for “Overall Dealer Satisfaction with Service Contract Provider”* and has been named “Best VSC Provider” in the Dealers’ Choice Awards** for all three years the survey has been conducted. CNAN has been endorsed exclusively by the American International Automobile Dealers Association (AIADA) since 1995.
