Video Uploading, Group Reporting and Craiglist Posting

Optimized Inventory Display

Dealerskins’ new optimized inventory display enhances automotive dealers’ search engine optimization performance. It provides dealers more long tail SEO viability, resulting in higher traffic and maximized lead generation.
“Based on car buyer behavior, dealer studies and advice from industry experts, we created a platform that is not only optimized for search engines, but also for user experience,” said Steve Blades, development manager for Dealerskins.
In addition to the SEO improvements, other features of this new display include static lead forms for consistent lead delivery, space for multiple calls-to-action, simple navigation, full text search capabilities and the ability to customize the look and feel to reflect the dealership’s brand. It also features a new image gallery display within the inventory details pages and the option to highlight environmentally friendly vehicles.

DealerVid Video Uploading Tool

DealerVid is a new video uploading tool that allows dealers to post video content to virtually any page of their website. Whether they post a branding video to the dealership’s home page, an informational video to a secondary page or a vehicle-specific video to an inventory page, video content offers a unique and effective way for dealers to connect with auto shoppers.DealerVid streams video to minimize load time, and it can be customized with a variety of player color schemes and a custom watermark image over the video.

Group Reporting Tool

Dealer groups can now view aggregated data for all of their stores with the release of the Dealerskins Group Reporting tool. Dealers can access the new reporting interface within the control panel to easily organize user session data to include statistics for an entire dealer group or targeted dealerships. They can also drill down for granular details, custom date range, group totaling and more, giving them greater insight into their return on investment.
Data is displayed in a variety of visually-appealing graph options including pie charts, line graphs and bar graphs. Frequently used reports may be saved for later access, and dealers can e-mail or download formatted reports as PDFs or raw data reports as Excel spreadsheets. The Group Reporting tool offers enhanced speed when pulling reports, allowing dealers to more quickly access their data, and the new tab-based interface lets dealers view multiple reports at one time.

Craigslist Inventory Posting Tool

The Dealerskins Craigslist Inventory Posting tool is a feature that allows car dealers to post individual vehicles from their inventory to Craigslist. The feature is free to Dealerskins customers, is easily accessible through the control panel and includes several pieces that are customizable.
Dealers can choose from several template options, which the posting tool automatically populates with the vehicle details and photos. Dealers may include additional images and edit key pieces of information such as price, post title and location. Once satisfied, dealers may preview the post before it is published to Craigslist.
