Leading automotive CRM provider DealerSocket announced today the completed acquisition of Southern California-based Carmind (www.carmind.com), a provider of online sales training tools for the automotive dealer community. Founded in 2007 by a group of automotive sales veterans, Carmind’s mission has been to develop realistic sales training that would stick and where the principles taught could easily be applied by salespeople. Carmind’s courses are delivered through a series of multimedia courses filmed in a dealership environment, highlighting techniques proven successful in today’s marketplace and accessible to dealers 24/7. Carmind customers can choose which skills they would like their sales teams to focus on and automatically push related content to them in real-time.

“Carmind’s philosophy is simple, we explore real world scenarios in an entertaining and fast-paced style,” said Carmind founder Napoleon Rumteen. “As ‘car guys’ ourselves we understand sales professionals and have developed a successful formula that enables each individual to learn at their own pace. Our dealer customer-base is forward thinking and a good match for DealerSocket’s customer mindset. We are very excited to now be a part of the DealerSocket family.”

Carmind combines the latest in consumer research about buying attitudes and behaviors with up-to-date selling techniques in developing its multimedia curriculum.

 “Carmind is a great fit for DealerSocket and non-DealerSocket customers alike,” said DealerSocket CEO and co-founder, Jonathan Ord. “Our company attitude is to make the most of your existing resources, which is exactly what Carmind enables dealers to do. Fun and engaging interactive training helps dealership personnel say and do the right things with customers at every point of contact. Having the option to couple Carmind with DealerSocket’s CRM solution will ensure dealers are doing everything they can to make the most of each and every sales and service opportunity.”

Carmind’s online training provides:

    * Training scientifically developed the way the brain is tuned to learn
    * Multimedia courses to stimulate both auditory and visual senses
    * Short courses designed to complement the attention span of sales professionals
    * Fresh and consistent weekly training
    * 100% measured results

DealerSocket will market Carmind as a product line inside of the DealerSocket suite of products, and will employ the award winning DealerSocket sales force in reaching the dealer community throughout the US and Canada.
