Hanover Maryland. -- Hudson Cook, LLP, a nationwide provider of legal compliance services for the financial services industry, announced that the American Financial Services Association has awarded its 2009 Distinguished Service Award to the Firm’s founding partners, Tom Hudson and Robert Cook.
First presented in 1941 the AFSA Distinguished Service Award is the association’s highest award. The awards will be presented on October 26, 2009, at the opening session of AFSA’s Annual Meeting and Leadership Conference at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington DC.
Jean Noonan, partner in the Firm’s Washington DC office, said “I know of no other individuals who are more deserving of this award than Tom and Robert. They have dedicated their entire legal careers to the practice of consumer credit compliance and their counsel has been sought by most of the leading financial institutions.”
