Through AutoStar-PayNearMe integration, hundreds
of dealers can easily accept currency for car repayment

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. and DALLAS, Texas – PayNearMe, the cash transaction network, and AutoStar Solutions, a leading dealer management software management provider, today announced the integration of PayNearMe with AutoStar to simplify the way dealers accept cash payments, benefiting both consumers and dealers. Now car repayments can be made with cash in less than 60 seconds at more than 8,600 local, participating 7-Eleven and ACE Cash Express stores nationwide.

“We are pleased to bring PayNearMe’s innovative cash payment solution to our customers and the valued consumers they serve,” said Allen Dobbins, AutoStar’s president and CEO. “PayNearMe eliminates the strain that cash has put on dealers historically. By eliminating this burden, cash payments are easier for dealers to process than checks and credit cards. Plus, our dealers can offer an even higher level of service to their customers.”

By integrating with PayNearMe, AutoStar dramatically simplifies dealers’ collection processes. For consumers, PayNearMe provides an affordable and convenient way to make car repayments with cash 24 hours per day, seven days per week at locations near where they live or work. Because of PayNearMe's unique partnerships with 7-Eleven and ACE Cash Express, dealers instantly gain a broad network of locations where cash payments can be accepted. For dealers, PayNearMe eliminates the fees required for other forms of electronic payment while simultaneously eliminating the risk of theft and fraud. In addition, AutoStar’s integration with PayNearMe reduces dealers’ costs by streamlining their reconciliation processes because payments are posted customers’ accounts automatically.

Dealers can get up and running with PayNearMe almost immediately from within the AutoStar interface. They simply assign PayNearMe cards to their consumers, or send barcodes that consumers can print or render on their smartphones. When they wish to make a payment, consumers hand cash along with their cards, printed barcodes, or smartphones to a 7-Eleven or ACE Cash Express associate who completes the transaction at the register – in real time.

“Many of our customers prefer to make their car payments in cash, but it’s been hard for them and for us,” said Mark Jones, general manager of MCMC Auto. “Through AutoStar’s partnership with PayNearMe, we can avoid accepting cash on-site. Plus, tracking cash payments will be incredibly simple.”

"AutoStar and PayNearMe share a passion for improving business results by simplifying complex processes,” said Danny Shader, CEO of PayNearMe. “Together we are enabling dealers to embrace the new model of ‘Buy Here, Pay Anywhere’ by letting consumers pay with cash at local stores. It’s better for consumers, and it’s better for dealers.”
