LAKE FOREST, Calif. — For the third time, the Orange County Business Journal named Portfolio to its "Best Places to Work" list, marking the third time the F&I product provider has made the list, according to the company.

“We strive to create a work environment where our employees enjoy interacting with each other and applying themselves as a team to meet the needs of our dealers, agents, and consumers, so we are especially grateful for this recognition,” said Brent Griggs, president and CEO. “The fact that 75% of the award is based on our employees’ day-to-day experience in our office attests that we are succeeding in that goal. It’s the best team of people I have ever had the opportunity to work with and I appreciate each one of them.”

To qualify for the awards, a business must have at least 15 employees working in Orange County, Calif.; be a for-profit or not-for profit business or government entity; be a publicly or privately held business; have a facility in Orange County; and must be in business a minimum of one year.

The awards process consists of two parts. The first part, which makes up 25% of a company's total evaluation, looks at each employer’s workplace policies, practices and demographics.

The second part, which makes up 75% of the total evaluation, consists of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The scores from both steps are then combined to determine the final ranking.
