LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Black Book has announced that Ricky Beggs, who previously served as the company’s senior vice president, was honored as the newest member of the prestigious Ring of Honor for the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA).

The award is presented annually to an executive who has exemplified outstanding performance, leadership and has added to the growth of the automotive industry.

Beggs served Black Book for 34 years before retiring in April. During his time with the company, Beggs was a trusted voice among automotive professionals, providing accurate valuation data. Beggs becomes the fourth member of Black Book and 24th industry leader to join the Ring of Honor.

“I am truly honored to have been able to have some influence on Black Book and the automotive industry and honored to be amongst this group of past recipients that have had a major impact on the way used cars are sold,” Beggs said. “I would not be receiving this special award without the efforts of all of the Black Book associates and especially the solid work by the entire editorial team.”
