Westlake Remarketing Releases Q1 – 2012 Top Auctions List
Westlake Financial Services has named their top auctions for Q1-2012.
LOS ANGELES, California – Westlake Financial Services has named their top auctions for Q1-2012. They are:
• Top Overall Auction: ADESA Los Angeles
• 2nd Place Overall Auction: Kansas City Independent
• 3rd Place Overall Auction: Norwalk Auto Auction
• Top Service Auction: ABC Birmingham (Alabama)
Bill Walters, VP of Remarketing, says that ADESA Los Angeles “has been steadily improving their performance in the two years we have been running with them. They have built a good reputation for service on both the buyer and seller side.”
Mr. Walters goes on to say that both Kansas City Independent and Norwalk Auto Auction continue to do well in the rankings due to “consistently strong sale performance and high service scores. They are usually highly competitive in our rankings from quarter to quarter.”
ABC Birmingham is recognized as Westlake’s Top Service Auction for Q1. “Both their inside and outside staff, generally, provide excellent service,” says Mr. Walters. “They also score high in their handling of our certification program.”
Mr. Walters concludes by noting that “Nationally, we have seen an uptick in overall auction results due to tax season, with particular strength in the western part of the country. Demand in these markets has been surprisingly firm through the first quarter.”
President Ian Anderson congratulates Westlake’s current Top Auctions. “With 2012 well underway and a record tax season almost behind us, Westlake and its subsidiaries continue to set new auction records. We appreciate the continued support our Remarketing Department receives from the auction community and look forward to a prosperous 2nd Quarter. Congratulations Westlake Top Auctions!”
