BUFFALO, N.Y. — Sheila Hartwell, director of training development of ACV Auctions, has won Bronze in the 15th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business in the Employee of the Year category.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run worldwide.
“In its 15th year, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business received a record number of nominations. With the new Women Future Conference preceding the announcement of winners on Nov. 16, was a day to celebrate the achievements of working women around the world,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of the Stevie Awards.
Hartwell was selected for her 25 years of success leading, training, coaching and motivating teams to achieve top-notch sales performance. In the beginning of her career, she was primarily focused in the areas of finance and automotive technology and had the opportunity to train throughout organizations both domestic and international. Hartwell has trained more than 172 ACV employees since July 2007, according to the announcement.
Finalists were determined by the average scores of more than 200 business professionals around the world, working on five juries. Their scores also determined the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements that were revealed at the 15th annual awards dinner and presentations in New York City Nov. 16.
