Sibbitt Joins Recovery Database Network
KAR Auction Services has named John Sibbitt vice president of business for its Recovery Database Network division.

CARMEL, Ind. — Automotive remarketing and technology services provider KAR Auction Services Inc. has announced the addition of John Sibbitt to the management team of Recovery Database Network (RDN) as vice president of business development. RDN provides specialized software and data solutions to customers across the repossession and disposition value chain. Sibbitt brings eight years of management, operations and asset recovery experience to RDN.
“John has a proven track record of success in the repo industry with strong leadership and customer relationship building skills,” said Peter Kelly, KAR’s president. “As part of what is now an integrated management team for RDN and Clearplan, John will help us expand our customer base and footprint as we deliver the most powerful software platform in the industry.”
In his new role, Sibbitt will be responsible for managing current RDN client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and expanding the client network. He previously served as vice president of operations at PAR North America — also a KAR business unit — and was part of the team that launched the PAR Platinum Compliance due diligence and transparency tool. Before joining PAR in 2012, Sibbitt oversaw a large specialty portfolio for Liberty Recovery Services, all according to the announcement.
