Arche Re meets insurance needs in the automotive market. As a leading diversified reinsurer, Arch Re has operations within most major global insurance centers.

The well capitalized, secure provider of risk transfer solutions supplies significant capacity to the global reinsurance market. Arch Re backs its offerings with creative solutions and award-winning customer service.

The bedrock of Arch Re offerings remains specialty classes. While the firm offers traditional reinsurance, its customized solutions meet the needs of insurers who require products tailored to their strategies.

Recently the early champion of third-party capital, such as catastrophe bonds and collateralized vehicles, built an insurance-linked security (ILS) platform and acquired the Barbican syndicates at Lloyds to expand its relationships.

The company provides creative solutions and superior client service via a team of experienced practitioners. These professionals provide expert underwriting, skilled claims management, outstanding service and world-class offerings backed by exceptional financial strength.

Arch Re employs a disciplined underwriting approach performed by actuaries who evaluate risks on the following factors:

Historical loss data on the cedant and, where available, on the industry as a whole in the relevant region(s).

Projections of future loss frequency and severity.

Cedant’s financial strength.

Cedant’s perceived commitment to its business and its reinsurer.

Geographic area in which the cedant does business, together with its catastrophe exposures, and our exposure in that area.

Arch Re’s parent company, Arch Capital Group Ltd. (ACGL), is a Bermuda-based company with more than $14 billion in capital. Independent rating agencies also have validated Arch Re’s financial strength. Standard & Poor’s, Fitch Ratings and A.M. Best Company all gave Arch Re an A+ rating, while Moody’s gave it an A2 rating.
