The Ed Morse Automotive Group acquired Porsche Des Moines in West Des Moines, Iowa, from Jason Pittack of the Woodhouse Auto Family.

The dealership will continue to operate as Porsche Des Moines as it joins the Iowa roster of rooftops already owned by the Ed Morse Auto Group, including two Chevrolet, Buick and GMC lots; one Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealership; and one Ford store.

Ed Morse owns over 50 locations across eight states after opening its doors in Florida over 80 years ago.

Woodhouse Auto Family is a Nebraska-based company that started out in 1975 and now has over 20 locations in Nebraska and Iowa combined.

Pinnacle Mergers & Acquisitions represented Ed Morse Automotive in the acquisition. It was the auto group’s first transaction with the brokerage firm.

The transaction adds to a healthy start to U.S. auto retail buy-sell activity this year as industry consolidation continues to be fueled in part by pandemic-era profits.
