Payless Car Sales “Dealer of the Month” Award Goes Coast to Coast

St. Petersburg, FL –  Payless Car Sales, Inc announcement today of its most recent “Dealer of the Month” Awards clearly indicates that its dealers perform consistently well from coast to coast. Spanning the nation – September honors went to the Sina Machine Company, Inc., d/b/a Payless Car Sales of Pasadena, California; Octobers to East Coast franchisee, Miami Master Cars, Inc., d/b/a/ Payless Car Sales of Miami, Florida. To win this award a Payless dealer must achieve well defined performance goals in a variety of areas such as: retail sales volume, brand image compliance and customer service. Just one customer complaint during the month will take a dealer out of the competition.

“The Payless brand is emotionally charged and action driven and has proved phenomenally successful in helping us garner the publics attention in every advertising medium that we have used”, said Ray Shafie owner of Payless of Pasadena. “In the two plus years that we’ve carried the Payless banner, it, the Payless name, has proven particularly powerful on the Internet”, Shafie added, “That’s where most shoppers go in search of a bargain and how many of them inevitably end up viewing our real time inventory of late model, low mileage vehicles on www.PaylessCarSales.com and then visiting our lot”.

Saeid Nikpour, one of nine Payless franchisees in the Greater Miami Area and winner of the October award, seems to concur. “We’ve been with Payless for three years now and each year we’ve grown beyond our expectations”, Saeid said. “Quality, Service and Savings - that’s what Payless is all about. The credibility their national branding brings to an independent dealer has helped us differentiate ourselves from the stereotypical ‘used car’ image that too many of the public have of our industry”, he added.  “Quality pre-owned and affordable vehicles from a dealer they can trust - that’s what our customers expect at Payless and that’s what they get”.

The Payless Franchise System is designed to help qualified independent used car dealers sell more cars. Though affiliation with its well recognized and trusted brand, Payless provides “preferred vendor” relationships with floor plan providers, retail lenders, F&I product and other industry suppliers; unique access to pre-owned rental inventories; on-going consulting from a professional staff and a strongly optimized, highly visible and nationwide lead generating website.

Initially formulated to provide a sales platform for disposing of rental vehicles for its sister company Payless Car Rental, Payless Car Sales became a separate entity in February 2002 and has now grown to over 50 locations in 16 states and Puerto Rico. Payless Car Sales, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Florida-based Avalon Global Group, Inc., a privately held company headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida.
