Concept Cars
These four concept cars were designed to push the boundaries of design, fuel efficiency and utility.

Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force Concept
Based on the G-Class line, the Ener-G-Force concept is a theoretical, environmentally friendly SUV designed for the future of law enforcement and emergency services. Powered by a version of the automaker’s zero-emission F-CELL hydrogen-fuel-cell technology, the Ener-G-Force would send recycled water in tanks on its roof to a “hydro-tech converter” that transforms natural and renewable resources into energy.

Citroen C4 Cactus Aventure
The C4 Cactus Aventure is an off-road-inspired interpretation of the Cactus concept unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Included in this concept are an increased ride height, metal bull bars, wheel arch extensions, a roof box with built-in spotlights, and off-road tires.

Kia Nero Urban Hybrid Vehicle
This “urban hybrid vehicle” made its U.S. debut at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. The Nero comes with a variant of Kia’s turbocharged 1.6-liter Gamma engine, capable of 160 horsepower (hp), mated to a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission that serves the front wheels while an electric hybrid system, powered by regenerative braking, delivers up to 45 hp to the rear wheels.
Nissan BladeGlider
The BladeGlider, the company’s latest sports concept, features a front end that is significantly narrower than the rear, creating a swept-wing shape. The vehicle is propelled by two motors powered by lithium ion batteries, all housed between the rear tires, putting 70% of the car’s weight directly on the two driven wheels.
