DealerRater Appoints New VP of Business Development
DealerRater has announced the expansion of the company’s executive team to include Brian Epro, the new vice president of business development.

WALTHAM, Mass. — DealerRater, the car dealer review website for consumers, has announced the expansion of the company’s executive team to include Brian Epro, the new vice president of business development.
“DealerRater helps millions of consumers connect with a dealership that can best meet their needs and that will deliver them a great customer experience,” said Gary Tucker, CEO of DealerRater. “Brian’s industry and dealer experience will help us continue to grow and deliver tremendous value to our dealers and the industry overall.”
Epro will oversee DealerRater’s national accounts business and will help grow the company’s partnerships with the largest dealer groups across the U.S. and Canada. He will also work in conjunction with Larry Cochran, DealerRater’s senior vice president of business development, to manage DealerRater’s relationships with OEMs. More than 14 million consumers read DealerRater review content across the Web each month as a result of DealerRater’s existing relationships with dealer groups, OEMs and content syndication partners, officials said.
Epro, with nearly 20 years in business development in the automotive sector, joins DealerRater from AutoLoop, a provider of dealership marketing solutions, where he was vice president of business development. In that role he helped win Mercedes-Benz’ standardization of its retail sales and fixed operations marketing onto the AutoLoop platform.
Before AutoLoop, Epro was vice president of product strategy for IMN, a digital marketing company, where he started their Automotive Services Group and led the company to partnerships with BMW, Volvo, Lexus, GM, Ford, Hyundai and Kia.
Epro will report directly to Tucker.
