CHICAGO — President Donald Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on Dec. 22, 2017. The bill includes tax law changes that may deeply affect many dealerships and their owners. Crowe Horwath LLP, one of the largest public accounting, consulting and technology firms in the U.S., will discuss these changes in the free webinar “Tax Reform: Key Considerations for Dealerships,” scheduled for Monday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. ET.

Participants will learn about the key provisions of this historic change in the federal tax law. Individual and business tax changes will be reviewed with an emphasis on the areas each dealer and their tax advisor needs to focus, including various areas of uncertainty.

“It’s important for dealerships to understand how this bill will affect them since most provisions are applicable starting in 2018,” said Joe Magyar, Crowe partner and tax leader for the firm’s retail dealership group. “This webinar will cover the top questions we’ve received from clients and other highlights we see impacting the industry.”

Dealers and personnel from dealerships of every size are invited to join Magyar and his co-presenter Natalie Frenier as they dive deep into tax reform. Registration for the free webinar can be accessed here.
