NADA Promotes Allen, Tesfazghi, Adds Guerra
The National Automobile Dealers Association has named Juliet Guerra director of media relations and announced promotions for media and legislative experts Jared Allen and Ben Tesfazghi.

TYSONS, Va. — The National Automobile Dealers Association announced two staff promotions and the hiring of a veteran communicator and public affairs professional as the association’s director of media relations.

Jared Allen was promoted to vice president of communications earlier this year. Allen joined NADA in 2015 as senior director of media relations. He will continue to oversee NADA’s media-relations engagement and strategy and serve as the organization’s primary spokesman while overseeing much of NADA’s external communication strategy and serving as a senior member of NADA’s policy-development team.

Ben Tesfazghi has been promoted to manager of legislative affairs. Tesfazghi joined NADA in 2016 as a legislative research analyst. He is expected to help implement NADA’s legislative agenda by engaging with members of Congress and congressional staff, as well as developing advocacy documents regarding NADA’s legislative priorities.

Finally, Juliet Guerra has joined the association as its new director of media relations. She will help NADA further build out its advocacy communications capabilities, and will serve as one of the organization’s media liaisons and spokespersons. Prior to joining NADA, Guerra was senior director at The Herald Group, a full-service public affairs firm.
“It’s an incredibly exciting time to join the NADA team,” Guerra said. “Auto dealers are an integral component of the U.S. auto industry, the U.S. economy, and to thousands of local communities. I look forward to making a positive impact on their businesses, their customers, and their advocacy efforts.”
