New positions leverage bench strength and customer relationships.
CARMEL, Ind. – Automotive Finance Corporation (AFC), a business unit of global vehicle remarketing and technology solutions provider KAR Auction Services Inc. (dba KAR Global), has created two new positions dedicated to serving customers better and with more personalized solutions. Cassie Crampton is now director of sales training, and Ed Andrews is senior director of major dealer accounts.
"These new positions will help us maximize efficiencies and field resources to meet customer needs more effectively and with more targeted solutions.”
“In creating these new roles for Cassie and Ed, we are devoting specialized resources to the field and leveraging the experience and industry relationships of two tenured members of the AFC team,” said Jim Money, president of AFC. “These new positions will help us maximize efficiencies and field resources to meet customer needs more effectively and with more targeted solutions.”
Additionally, Charles “Chuck” Comeaux has been promoted from regional manager to vice president of operations for the West Division.
“Chuck has proven to be an exceptional operations leader — managing regional teams with a simultaneous focus on people development, revenue generation and process optimization,” said Money. “His crucial role in implementing data analytics tools such as Tableau into AFC operations is just the most recent example of his outstanding contributions and pioneering spirit.”
Comeaux will report directly to Money. He began his automotive career in the retail industry with experience leading sales, F&I and general management for a small group of dealerships. He eventually obtained his dealer’s license and worked primarily in the wholesale auto sector prior to joining AFC in 1996 as a regional manager.
Crampton has served as sales director at AFC since 2017. Before joining AFC, she was senior manager of account management team and programs at Autobytel. Previously, she had served in positions of increasing responsibility over a seven-year tour at Dealix. Crampton got her start in the automotive sector in 2007 as director of internet sales for a franchise dealer group in Ohio.
Andrews has 25 years of experience in the industry and managed bank floorplan lines for large independent dealers early in his career. He joined AFC as an assistant branch manager in 2000 and advanced by managing various branches in Mississippi and Florida. Andrews has served as the regional manager over Florida since 2013.
