In an effort to help dealers seamlessly access AutoCheck vehicle history reports during wholesale automotive sales, Experian expanded its relationship with Manheim, a provider of end-to-end wholesale vehicle solutions. Now dealers with AutoCheck subscriptions can automatically link their accounts to their Manheim profiles, allowing them to instantly access complete AutoCheck vehicle history reports via Manheim through a single sign-on.

“Amid rising used vehicle prices and continued inventory challenges, it’s more important than ever for dealers to ensure they’re bidding on vehicles that meet their standards,” said John DeMarco, Experian’s senior vice president of automotive. “By streamlining the process to access their AutoCheck subscription on Manheim.com, we’re making it easier for dealers to familiarize themselves with a vehicle’s history and help them feel more confident in their decisions at auction.”

Dealers bidding on vehicles in Manheim sales can access full AutoCheck vehicle history reports free of charge and without having to continually log in to their AutoCheck subscriptions. That includes information on reported accidents, odometer readings, open recalls and whether the vehicle qualifies for Experian’s buy-back protection.

“Wholesale vehicle sales can be fast-paced, and the more information dealers have at their fingertips, the better decisions they can make,” said Ed Berkowitz, vice president of product management for Cox Automotive Inventory Solutions. “Teaming up with Experian to connect dealers’ AutoCheck subscriptions with their Manheim profiles is another step toward giving our clients a seamless experience to research, bid and buy at Manheim.”

Dealers without an AutoCheck subscription will continue to benefit from the Manheim Snapshot report, which is powered by AutoCheck. Snapshot, launched over a decade ago, provides Manheim users with key data elements from the vehicle history report.

Experian's AutoCheck vehicle history report are used by dealers and consumers to better understand a vehicle's history and make informed vehicle purchases. With the proprietary AutoCheck Score, dealers and consumers are able to quickly understand the likelihood that a vehicle will be on the road in five years.
