BEND, Ore. — Charisma! Communications, a boutique agency specializing in public relations, video, and online training for the automotive industry, has launched a new video production division designed specifically for the automotive space. All video formats will be offered, from whiteboard to scribing, customized videography to production.

The agency has created a promotional video to introduce the service and showcase the offerings to come from the new division. Officials noted that vehicle manufacturers, dealership groups and automotive software providers are turning to video in a big way to help explain their products and capture consumer attention.

“This past year, we have had more and more of our public relations clients ask us to include video production to their account. It’s a natural evolution, with YouTube becoming the second largest search engine online and many editors looking to add video content to their offerings,” said Laurie Halter, CEO of Charisma! Communications. “I think automotive professionals will be excited to find we offer high-quality videos that jumpstart engagement at a very competitive price.”

Video marketing is also a highly effective way to boost SEO, Halter added. Every month, more than one billion unique visitors flock to YouTube to watch more than six billion hours of video. Video also captures attention better than static copy, making it an effective way to explain a product or service, she added.

“Research shows that video boosts peoples’ understanding of a product or service by an impressive 74 percent,” Halter said. “That understanding translates into more sales, with 64 percent of website visitors more likely to buy a product online after watching a video.”
