For fourth consecutive year, CUDL will host America’s Credit Unions to promote benefits of credit union and dealer alliance to 25,000 attendees at nation’s largest dealer convention

Rancho Cucamonga, CA - CUDL (CU Direct Corporation), which administers the Credit Union Direct Lending (CUDL) program -- the nation’s largest point-of-sale and indirect lending network for credit unions – announced today that they will be hosting America’s Credit Unions at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention, in Las Vegas, NV, February 3 through February 6, 2007. - CUDL (CU Direct Corporation), which administers the Credit Union Direct Lending (CUDL) program -- the nation’s largest point-of-sale and indirect lending network for credit unions – announced today that they will be hosting America’s Credit Unions at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention, in Las Vegas, NV, February 3 through February 6, 2007.

This is the fourth consecutive year that the company will be bringing together credit unions from throughout the U.S., to create a united presence at the NADA Convention. The largest event for automobile dealers in the U.S., NADA averages between 25,000 and 30,000 attendees each year, drawing attendance from approximately one third of all U.S. dealerships.

By presenting America’s Credit Unions, CUDL will provide credit unions the opportunity to increase dealers’ awareness of the market place power credit unions possess, representing 86 million potential auto buyers, and to convey the importance and viability of partnerships between credit unions and dealers.

Last year, CUDL represented its 580 credit unions at the 2006 NADA Convention and hosted representatives from 25 credit unions at the America’s Credit Union booth.

“Participation in the NADA conference has provided credit unions with added insight into the challenges that dealers face,” says Marti James, Vice President, Lending for Premier America Credit Union.

“Dealers get to see how broad credit union membership is in this country and how eager credit unions are to work with dealers and provide their financing needs. It’s a win-win for everyone.”

In addition to the benefits garnered by presenting their cooperative and network strength, credit unions that participate at NADA also gain from having the opportunity to:

  • Develop significant relationships with top national and local dealers

  • Improve awareness and the value of the credit union partnership with both new car franchised dealers and independent dealers

  • Provide a unified presence alongside top lending institutions

  • Attend a wide variety of industry workshops intended to help credit unions better understand and work with the automobile industry

“CUDL’s and America’s Credit Unions’ presence at the NADA Conference over the past three years has helped to significantly increased industry awareness of the benefits of partnering with credit unions,” said CUDL’s President and CEO, Tony Boutelle. “Our goal at NADA in 2007 is to continue to build upon and strengthen the growing relationship between credit unions and dealers.”

CUDL will have a 30’ x 40’ two-story booth that offers credit unions the opportunity to meet and network with dealers, in an effort to further build mutually beneficial partnerships. Credit union representatives will also have the opportunity to attend over 100 breakout sessions being offered by the convention.

During NADA, CUDL will also be hosting a private reception for credit unions and dealers at the Ghostbar, located at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, on Friday, February 2, 2007. The reception will provide credit unions an ideal opportunity to further network with key industry representatives. Credit unions participating at the America’s Credit Unions booth will have the opportunity to distribute personal invitations to the reception to dealer contacts and other industry VIPs. About CUDL
