NASHVILLE, TN - Dealerskins, (www.dealerskins.com) a division of Dominion Enterprises and a leading provider of automotive dealer web solutions, has launched a video and viral marketing project to promote its highly successful nationwide user groups.  The video can be viewed at; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yn09XoUySFg. It tells the initially sad tale of a dealership Internet sales team, and ends with a strong redemptive finale at a Dealerskins User Group. There is a tongue-in-cheek reference to Glengarry Glenn Ross with a cameo from company founder; well know industry expert Jason Ezell. Within 48 hours of posting the video received over 300 views.

“Dealerskins has always been known as forward thinking and cutting-edge in its approach to the market and we strive to stay on top of the latest trends for our dealers,” commented Amanda Tossberg, Director of Marketing with Dealerskins. “Video is a great medium and viral marketing continues to increase in importance. The video was a real team effort at Dealerskins and a lot of fun to produce. I think dealers will get a kick out of it,” Tossberg added.

The term viral video refers to video clip content which gains widespread popularity through the process of Internet sharing, typically through email, IM, blogs, and other media sharing websites.  Viral videos are often humorous in nature and may range from televised comedy sketches to amateur video clips.

“Viral marketing is now one of the most powerful ways to market online. This is what the Internet was designed for, multimedia as mainstream. With the adoption of broadband, this method of marketing is quickly spreading.  This video has already produced great results for us and we’re looking forward to future projects,” said Tossberg.
