Richmond, VA – InterActive Financial Marketing Group, LLC (IFMG) is the fastest-growing private company in the Richmond area, the winner of the Rising 25 competition sponsored by KPMG, the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce and the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Rising 25 companies must be based in Richmond, must be profitable, must be privately held and independent, and must have a five-year sales history that begins with sales in excess of $200,000 in 2001.
Company president and co-founder Travis Weisleder accepted the award at a January 25 banquet at the Richmond Marriott, and later emailed congratulations to all his employees.
"The credit in this accomplishment has to go to all of you for your passion, hard work and dedication in delivering the best product and service that we can," Weisleder said.
Paul Croston, a KPMG partner, told the banquet crowd that "over the last 17 years, this program has recognized 225 companies, and we are always excited about the chance to recognize these companies and foster, in some small way, their continued growth and the growth of the local economy."
All the companies involved are private, so no specific financial details were publicly disclosed. The Times-Dispatch reported the average sales growth of the fastest-growing 25 firms from 2001 to 2005 was 703 percent. For the top five, the average percentage increase was 2,089 percent.
Revenue for all Rising 25 companies in 2005 was more than $390 million, the newspaper said.
