The industry sold 1.32 million units in November, a 1.3% increase from a year ago. Year to date, 15.8 million cars and trucks have been sold, according to Autodata Corp.
Total new-vehicle sales in April increased 0.6% compared with a year ago to 1.45 million units sold, according to Autodata Corp. April’s SAAR was 16.5 million units.
Total new-vehicle sales in March increased 0.6% from a year ago to 1,545,802 units. The seasonally adjusted annual rate increased to 17.15 million units, according to Autodata Corp.
Total light-vehicle retail sales are expected to reach 1.3 million units in February, the highest total for the month since 2002, according to projections from J.D. Power and LMC Automotive.
