On Dec. 4, 2009 the first Volkswagen dealer in the Flagstaff area opened its doors.

Findlay Volkswagen opened in the Flagstaff Autoplex. It is the second Findlay Automotive Group dealership in Flagstaff. The first was Findlay Toyota.

Findlay Volkswagen is owned by Cliff Findlay and Tyler Corder, and operated by Findlay Automotive Group. The dealership’s general manager is Robby Findlay.

“We are extremely happy to be able to bring the Volkswagen franchise to Flagstaff,” said Cliff Findlay, one of the Findlay Volkswagen owners. “We’ve been developing this dealership for several years and think it is a great addition to Flagstaff.”

Situated at 5160 North Test Drive in Flagstaff, the 14,000 square foot dealership facility includes six service bays and is just down the road from Findlay Toyota.

“During the development of the Flagstaff Autoplex, Volkswagen was the most requested franchise,” said Tyler Corder, Findlay Volkgwagen co-owner and chief financial officer for Findlay Automotive Group. “We think Volkswagen fits nicely with the lifestyle of people of Flagstaff. Volkswagen makes a great vehicle and we’re happy to make it much more accessible to Flagstaff residents.”
