ACV Acquires Collision Investigation Provider
ACV Auctions has acquired TrueFrame, a vehicle inspections provider specializing in but not limited to collision investigations.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — ACV Auctions Inc. announced the acquisition of vehicle accident inspections provider TrueFrame. TrueFrame’s True360 reports were designed to provide used car dealers and consumers the means to make knowledgeable purchases, particularly when it comes to vehicles with an accident history.
“We welcome the TrueFrame dealer partners, commercial consignors and teammates to ACV Auctions as we share a common mission to be the most trusted and transparent way for dealers to buy and sell used vehicles,” said ACV Auctions CEO George Chamoun.
The True360 report publishes to Carfax and AutoCheck vehicle history reports as well as the vehicle display page on the dealer’s website, executives noted.
“After meeting the ACV team, we knew that our two companies and products were a perfect fit,” said TrueFrame CEO Frank Lynch. “We share a common focus on bringing transparency to the used car marketplace and helping our dealers succeed.”
