IRVINE, Calif. — Online automotive services provider Autobytel Inc. released its list of Autobytel Dealers of the Month for the third quarter. On it were Ben Seyden of Taylor Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Rob Grossheim of Stillwell Ford, and Peter Deiser of the Ed Morse Automotive Group.

The Autobytel Dealer Awards Program honors exceptional operations that employ the highest standards in digital automotive retail sales, lead management processes, customer service, and a commitment to mobile and emerging technologies, according to the company.

“Our Dealer of the Month winners for the third quarter are truly progressive in their business approach, and we are pleased to honor them for their commitment to process and exceptional customer service,” said Jeff Coats, president and CEO of Autobytel Inc.

The team under Seyden at Taylor Chrysler Dodge Jeep serves the Chicago area as well as consumers from Wisconsin, Indiana, Arkansas, and Texas. About 40% of the group’s total sales originate as online leads, with some sales coming from as far away as Germany and England. While a commitment to process, people and proper training drives the Internet team there, the dealership also utilizes Autobytel’s TextShield platform to communicate with and reach customers.

Stillwell Ford in Hillsdale, Mich., also has a long reach thanks to the team managed by Internet Sales Manager Grossheim. He credits much of the store’s success to quick response times and providing customers with the exact information they request. The team also uses TextShield.

Florida’s Ed Morse Automotive Group, a family-owned and -operated operation established in 1946, was also honored. Peter Deiser, director of ecommerce, said technology, measurement, adaptation, and happy employees are what drive his team. As a member of Autobytel's Dealer Advisory Board, Deiser said that one great perk is being among the first to pilot Autobytel’s emerging technologies and latest products.

Winning dealers are selected each month by Autobytel’s sales and dealer operations teams, which evaluate prospective candidates from a competitive field of thousands of automotive retailers in the Autobytel network.
