At NADA ’20 this month, Rapid Recon founder and CEO Dennis McGinn will make some substantial announcements.
The workflow and reconditioning software and process provider's new offering is designed to compile and index in graphical dashboard format the monthly performance metrics of multi-rooftop operations, providing clarity into the challenges — and potential performance gains — realized by individual dealerships.
By the time the NADA was founded in 1917, the sufficiency of units in operation meant a growing opportunity for used-vehicle sales. According to 1917 motor vehicle registrations, as compiled by the U.S. Bureau of Public Roads, nearly five million cars and trucks were registered. And by late 1916, creative rebuilders were putting old cars, now “reconditioned,” back on the road.
Dealers are using time-to-market to improve reconditioning processes, reduce costs, and maximize profits on used-vehicle sales.
